Winter Field Day 2026
All Winter Field Day events are on! Our intrepid Station Captains, John, Kim and Tim, will be braving the cold this weekend at 972 Back Mountain Road in Goffstown, NH. They will be operating as 2O "Oscar" from 11 AM on Saturday until 5 PM on Sunday, under the callsign N1QC. We will have both SSB and CW stations available.

4H Ham Radio Community Event
The GSARA will be hosting a community outreach event at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, featuring a table that introduces kids ages 6-12 to Ham Radio. Activities will include scheduled QSO sessions where participants can "talk to a ham" on a repeater, learning their names in Morse Code, fox hunting, and operating a high-frequency (HF) station.

4H Community Outreach - Ham Radio Event Zoom Event
As discussed in our monthly club meeting, we will hold a Zoom planning meeting to outline our action plan for setting up demonstrations, displays, and hands-on examples of Amateur Radio at this year's 4H event.
Our goal is to increase our presence at the event, and we are looking for volunteers to contribute ideas and participate. The event will take place on Saturday, September 6th, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

“Mysteries of a Wide Area Repeater” - Paul (W1ASS): Paul Hunter, owner and operator of the 70cm repeater (443.850MHz) located atop Fort Mountain in Epsom will be discussing repeater fundamentals, voting, simulcast operation, and what makes “The Fort” so special.

Nearfest Club Breakfast - Sawyers Goffstown NH
