Fall POTA Support Your Parks weekend is on Saturday, October 17th.

We'll hold the event at Bear Brook State Park (US-2643) near the Bathhouse Pavilion.

The pavilion area has plenty of space for setup, including several picnic tables.

Parking is also nearby, with several porta potties. If you enter on Deerfield Road off of 28, the parking area is on the left immediately after the entrance shack.

This is a fun social event and a great opportunity for POTA veterans to activate a new park.

More importantly, if you are new to the hobby or just curious what POTA is all about, this is a perfect opportunity to come, ask questions, get on the air, and even earn a nifty POTA award!

The location should be a relatively short drive for most attendees.

While the official POTA event runs October 17-18 UTC, we will gather on Saturday, October 17th from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM EDT. You're welcome to arrive early and stay late. I should be on-site and set up by 8:00 AM. Within the park, we will use 446.100 Mhz., as usual, for communications.
