Ham Radio in our Local Communities and Schools
As a club, we firmly believe in giving back to our community through various initiatives. Whether it's by providing communication assistance during a Road Race, or actively participating in local high school STEM programs, we always strive to raise awareness about the significance of amateur radio. Below are some of the recent activities we have been engaged in. If you are part of the local club area and would like to learn more, please feel free to use our contact form.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
At the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, the Granite State Amateur Radio Association showed more than 100 children (ages 6–12) and their parents what Amateur Radio is all about, with 13 club volunteers running hands-on stations and cheering on first-time operators.
