4H Community Outreach - Ham Radio Event
As discussed in our monthly club meeting, we will hold a Zoom planning meeting to outline our action plan for setting up demonstrations, displays, and hands-on examples of Amateur Radio at this year's 4H event.
Our goal is to increase our presence at the event, and we are looking for volunteers to contribute ideas and participate. The event will take place on Saturday, September 6th, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

ARRL Summer Field Day (GSARA)
Every year, the ARRL hosts the Summer Field Day, a training exercise for amateur radio operators to improve their emergency communication skills. This event is the biggest emergency preparedness drill in the country and is our club's most important "on the air" event of the year.

GSARA Community Outreach Youth
The Granite State Amateur Radio Association will be at the 4H Agricultural Fair demonstrating ham radio to the public. There will be a "Special Event HF Station (N1QC) our club booth and several demonstrations from ARES and a Learn your name in morse code. Event is from 9 am to 4 pm Saturday at the 4H Fair Grounds in New Boston.

Spring POTA Meetup
GSARA Club event for the Spring POTA Support Your Parks weekend. We will be gathering at the Temple Mountain State Reservation (US-11848). The park is on 101 just east of Peterborough across the street from the entrance to Miller State Park. Suppose you are not familiar with the location. In that case, Temple Mountain provides a large parking area with plenty of space to accommodate vehicles and lots of opportunities to get creative with your antennas (many trees on the parking lot's perimeter). If you’re ambitious, you can even hike up to the summit of Holt Peak or Temple Mountain.

Seacoast Amateur Radio Flea Market
The Port City Amateur Radio Club hosts an annual hamfest and flea market in April at the Saint James Masonic Lodge on 77 Tide Mill Road, Hampton, NH. Admission is $5 per person and children under 12 are admitted free. There are hourly door prize drawings as well as a grand prize drawing. All ticket holders are eligible to win, additional prize drawing tickets may be purchased for $5 each.
We have indoor and outdoor table space available and pre-registration is recommended. You can purchase table space using the seller’s application found at the bottom of this page.
