Event Details - SYP Summer Event

Our GSARA Club event for the Summer POTA Support Your Parks weekend will be held on Saturday, July 18th. We will gather at Pillsbury State Park (US-2673), located on Highway 31 just north of Washington, NH. Those familiar with the park will agree that it is worth the drive, as it offers a quiet and secluded environment ideal for radio operations.

This event is not only a fun social gathering but also a great opportunity for POTA veterans to activate a new park. More importantly, if you’re new to the hobby or just curious about what POTA is all about, this is a perfect chance to attend, ask questions, get on the air, and earn a nifty POTA award!

The official POTA event runs from July 18th to 19th UTC. We will gather on Saturday, July 18th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EDT. You are welcome to arrive early and stay late. In the event of inclement weather on Saturday, we will meet on Sunday, July 19th, at the same time.
