The objectives of the Granite State Amateur Radio Association are to advance the principles, interests, enjoyment and good operating practices associated with the Amateur Radio Service Areas Served If you can hear our 2-meter repeater, 146.685 MHz (PL 100.0), consider joining – most of our members are from the Greater Manchester area (Bedford, Francestown, Goffstown, New Boston, Merrimack, and Manchester) The GSARA repeater was up 24x7 during the recent ice and wind storms, providing much needed relief when the phones lines went down! |
History
In the early 1970’s, twelve local Amateur Radio operators founded the GSARA For more than 25 years, the GSARA has participated in such activities as Field Day, the NHQSO Party, monthly meetings, and holding license examinations The GSARA operates a 2-meter repeater, 146.685 MHz (PL 100.0), from Bedford, NH We have been affiliated with the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) since 1974 and are an ARRL Special Service Club We also regularly participates in the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) training events |
Meetings
Local Nets

- Monthly meetings are held every 2nd Friday - typically in the basement of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Bedford
- An informal breakfast is held every Saturday around 0800 in the Catholic Medical Center cafeteria in Manchester

- Nightly net on GSARA repeater @ 1900 (146.456/-100.0)
- Nightly 6 meter Marsupial Net @ 1930-2000 50.305 MHz USB
- GSARA 10 Meter Net - second Monday of the month @ 1930 28.485 MHz USB (+/- if there's interference)
- Greater Manchester ARES net is every Monday evening @ 2000 (147.135/+100.0)
